Hon Sang Mu Sa Hapkido - The Way of the Ancient Spiritual Warrior. I am pleased to announce after many, many request that I am now offer an home study course in the eclectic art I founded in 2006 called Hon Sang Mu Sa Hapkido.
In 1984 I began my martial arts career in a Hapkido / Tae Kwon Do mix. I studied with my instructor for 16 years to the rank of 4th Dan Black Belt when I decided to go on my own, learn more and open a Dojo called Art Mason's Peaceful Warriors' Martial Arts Institute.
And in 2006 after intensive study in the natural laws of Kosho Ryu, Kyusho Jitsu, Cane Masters, Small Circle JuJitsu and others Hon San Mu Sa Hapkido was founded and registered as an art with the World Budo Alliance.
The word Hapkido means to "harmonize with the attacker energy" and Hon San Mu Sa is "Ancient Spiritual Warrior."
Over the past few years many of you have expressed an interest in learning this rare art. And while I was moving files I found my entire curriculum we had videoed a few years back.

Martial Arts training should not be looked at as an activity. It is rather a study. And a study that lasts for a lifetime. The world is in the trouble it is in today because people are not educated, they are indoctrinated. Therefore they regurgitate information that is not truth, but part of a narrative.
And the martial arts world has been affected by this also. Thus the believe that ring fighting and feats of physical prowess are the only way. There is no truth to this idea. These things have value, but are only a fraction of the entire picture.
Learning is for a lifetime.

You are never to old to learn, and as an example I am learning a language to the point of certifying as a speaker in my 60's. And I consider this to be part of my martial arts training!
